A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. We do not keep or log those search terms on our own systems.

We do not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Scott County guidance points readers toward the sheriff, the 33rd Judicial Circuit courts, the Missouri State Highway Patrol central repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Section 43.506 RSMo governs criminal-history reporting to that central repository, while Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 RSMo, governs public records held by covered government bodies. Visitor information is not compiled into third-party records or consumer reports, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
